India October 2015

When I returned to India in 2015, we picked up right where we left off. We got updates from all of the kids on what was going on in their lives and how they were progressing in school. As a volunteer with youth for many years, I often ask myself how much does each conversation matter, or how much do children take away from messages that I give. One of the things that amazed me about this trip was how much they could recall from our visit the year before. As I walked through the building some of them would run up to me and recite my favorite bible verse, Philippians 4:13; which was something I taught them when we first met. The valuable lesson I learned was that if you can have a deep enough impact, you will leave a lasting mark on those you serve. (India)
